Harbourtown Dental is owned by a husband and wife team. Dr Shoaib Choudhari and Dr Reema Choudhari took ownership of Harbourtown Dental in December 2019. They have since gone on to create a welcoming, safe, friendly and clean environment to treat you and your families dental needs.

Child Dental Benefit Schedule

The Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) was established in January 2014 to provide dental treatment to eligible children aged 0 to 17 years.

At Harbourtown Dental, we bulk bill all CDBS patients meaning there is no out of pocket costs or gap payments. The CDBS scheme provides a range of services including but not limited to check-ups, cleans, fillings and emergency treatments. The Dentists at Harbourtown Dental encourage parents to bring in their children from a young age even if they have no problems in order to allow children to familiarise themselves with the dental setting and develop good dental habits – we find this leads to much better future oral health outcomes and reduces fears and anxieties.

Eligibility Requirements: Families receiving Family Tax Benefit Part A or other Government payments are eligible. Please contact our surgery on 07 5528 8111 with your Medicare number nearby if you are unsure about your eligibility or alternatively contact Medicare directly.

Services Provided: The scheme provides up to $1158.00 worth of general dental treatment over two consecutive calendar years.
